Anger Management
Anger Management therapy is not about stopping you from expressing your anger entirely. It’s okay to feel angry. In fact, trying to suppress or deny your anger can lead to a host of physical symptoms, such as headaches, depression, stress. Sleep disorders, and eating difficulties. Poor anger management can also lead you to erupt into violent and/or aggressive behavior if your temper ahs been simmering without an outlet.

Anxiety / Depression / Trauma
We’ve all had moments in our life where we might have felt as though the world was crumbling around us. Or maybe the feeling of our heart pounding and thoughts racing. Both of these could be related to trauma experienced in our lives or maybe just developed through every day life stressors. I utilize CBT and other techniques with clients to help them work towards managing the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and working through their identified trauma.

Self Esteem
Do you lack confidence or spend a lot of time criticizing yourself? This could relate to low self-esteem. Self-esteem is the degree to which a person feels confident, valuable and worthy. It exists on a continuum from high to low. Where the person falls on this spectrum can influence their overall wellbeing. People with low self-esteem often feel shame and self doubt. Therapy can help you recognize and reduce negative self talk. I work to assist with clients in identifying what’s underneath the negative view by challenging negative thoughts. and learning self compassion and goal setting, which are linked to improved
self-esteem.
